These are The Pictures of the Month for December 2008, the last batch of the year. With the new year, I am changing my policy for Pictures of the Month. In general, I pick my pictures, use Photoshop to resize them, use Photobucket to host them, then post them on here.  I use Photoshop to resize them, because the automatic resizer on Windows does a poor job.  As a result, it takes me a really long time to resize them, because Photoshop only lets you resize one picture at a time; with the Windows resizer, you can do as many as you want at a time.  But, since I usually post more than one picture, and it usually ends up being close to 20, I am going to start using the automatic Windows resizer by default, unless I can narrow my pictures down to ten or less.  If you look close, you'll notice a poorer quality picture, but resizing each picture manually has become tedious.  I keep all the original files if you want a specific picture in full quality.

To start things off with this new policy, in the first picture, you are supposed to be able to clearly see a neon restaurant sign reflected in Christine's eyes, but instead, there is a green and red blur as a result of the automatic Windows resizer.  This, and other quality issues are going to occur, but I hope it does not affect your picture browsing experience in my journal.  Thank you.
